Here's a project that's been in the works for a while now. The best way to describe Megalopolus is that it's an urban rejuvination scheme. It's run by volunteers who are sick of waiting on their local government to help out in urban areas.
With the help of street entertainers, performers, liaisons and motivational speakers, the Megalopolus collective try to add some fun into the tedium and monochrome attitude of day-to-day city living. As you can see from the design, they are keen to infiltrate a youthful demographic. Top of the collective's action plan is to avoid political undertones, even though at it's heart, Megalopolus is very active in local politics and education.
A drawn out but extremely fun project that I can't help feel sad is over, having been involved creatively since it's early concepts almost a year ago.
